Wiper washer fluid bottle leak.

Hi all. I filled up my wiper washer fluid today and found that it is leaking if I fill it past a certain point. It is not full. I tried to get a good look at the bottle but it is buried in behind the front bumper. I think it is either cracked/split or a hose is not attached properly. Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas?

Thanks for the advice. Great photo by the way. Thank you. Its filling up to a certain point and then leaking out. Judging by how much water trickles out I feel it’s at the point where the filler neck joins the tank. Is it a huge task to remove the bumper? How long would it take?

Looks like the front washer jets aren’t working now but the rear one is working. Weird as they run from the same tank. Might be taking the bumper off....

So yesterday the car went into restricted performance mode while I was driving home along the highway so I took it to the local LR service centre and asked them to have a look at the wiper washers while it was there. They removed the inner wheel arch guard and found the washer hose for both front and rear screens were split and require replacing. $30 part, $300 labour 🙄. Diagram below showing parts required just as an FYI.

Sounds great, but what about the restricted performance?
Hi Bill. I have a separate post on this. Read it here: Restricted performance

Update. I called LR customer service and they offered to help out by reducing the price of this repair considerably. Parts arrived in 3 days and it’s all fixed now. Happy with the outcome.

I got a strange one. My washer level warning light came on so I topped it up to the top with around 3 ltr. I check they squirted okay. The next day I came back and the warning light was on again. I tried the washers and they ran for around 5 second before the fluid ran out. I topped it up again this time with water only and it took another 3 ltrs. I check its squirted okay and that the warning light was off. No problem. The next day, got in the car, warning light on again, squirted for about 5 second before it ran out. The next day, same thing. The strange thing is i cannot see any dripping from the car nor any puddel left which I expected 3 ltrs of fluid to do. I've no idea where the fluid is going. I'm not going to fill again until dealer has checked it out as I can't see where the fluid is going. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

I have an obvious one. My rear wiper sprays water. Front windshield does not. But can hear pump motor engaged tried it for 1 full minute ..nothing then looked under car big puddle. I have not investigated yet but by the amount of water I bet the house popped off. You can get to it by removing passenger (US Cars) wheel and wheel well. For your case seems like a leak ....

Found the leak. I pulled the passenger wheel and inner plastic fender well to expose the resouvior and pump. There is only 1 pump on the newer DS. This goes to a valve that switches between windshield and rear window. My leak was not even near the pump or resouvior. I found my leak above right next to the cooling fluid fill box . There is a 90 deg elbow where the hose was cracked. I just cut it back and added new hose. Works great now. While I had the fender well open decided to replace the serpentine belt. 75k miles I inspected the oem belt it was starting to get cracks.
