Hello all,
New here and was hoping for some sage advice. I’ve owned my 2017 LR Disco Sport since purchasing it new in 2018. It’s been a great vehicle -super dependable.
Tons of post here about battery issues and low battery lights but I didn’t see anything on my mechanical issue. I was getting random start car low battery lighs. My fault readers shows good charging system and no active fault codes. I reset the battery management system for good measure and when I stopped by Auto Zone to have them test my battery I discovered a partially melted positive battery cable.
I ordered one and I have battery out and it looks like the cable connects inside the fuse box. I’m stuck here. I don’t really want to dismantling the fuse box to gain access without hearing some advice from people who have done it.
