Having an issue with my infotainment center and wondering if anyone else is. It only affects the satellite radio portion. It loses its brain quite a bit. Somrtimes it only plays one channel and won't let me switch or it doesn't play any. The preset station display sometimes and disappear other times. Signal refreshes from the provider don't work. Once, it last for three days and only way to resolve was to disconnect battery cable and reseat. Then I was back in business for a while. I have a video of the issue where I can't change channels but can't post. I've attached a pic of the preset stations missing. Anyone else had this issue?

Yes, I have noticed that the satellite radio loses it's settings, channels, and sometimes won't play - it blanks out.
Like the Navigation sometimes saying it is not reading the map and has to be rebooted many times.

These are known issues - see your dealer for a possible campaign or software update....

I have this on my list when I take her in for the next appointment.

Compared to my BMW, the Land Rover is very glitchy - reminds me of when BMWs in the 1980s were so electrically gremlined that they were known for that.
But over time, the current BMWs have resolved a lot of the electrical gremlins....

Hoping Land Rover will learn over time....

Introduction as a New member!

Hi,
I'm a new member because I ordered mi-dec a DS HSE Auto 180 cv.
I live in Spain!

I have questions about options which could be very useful / good to have or not of any interest?
I need your feedback as I need to close my order definitly as soon I possible.

Please send me pictures or advices you think useful as this is the frst time I order a brand new car!
I fell a bit lost regarding all the posibilities offered!

FIRST:
The interior will be Almond (I've seen it in my CC and I like the light it gives inside and the warm feeling too)

For the exterior I probably go for the Loire Blue (unfortunately I haven't see it in real and hope it will be a dark blue!) Pictures please, feedback please?
I was wondering about the Corris Grey instead but with interior Almond I don't know if it will work well!

SECOND
List of options I have selected yet:
- Sunroof (no black pack, same color as the exterior around the roof)
- Heated front Seats electric with memory function
- Retrovisors electric memory function
- Heated passenger seats
- USB Connection on front panel (any pictures?)
-connections USB x2 row of rear seats
- Boots: Opening and closing Electrical
- Black glass (privacy Cristal)
- Emergency wheel normal size
- Trailer system demontable but not electric trailer (model 5 place invisible if disassembled)
-Jantes 18 "style 109 series (those standard on the HSE)
- Carpet floor carpet (gift from the CC)

Accessories =
- Roof Rails
-roof bars with Aluminium finish

I had confirmation that In control protect option is included in the 3 years warranty

I wonder at the moment about taking the In Control Apps? Is it really interesting because the HT price is 715 euros !!!!

Regarding Secure Incontrol secure , My insurance does not require it. But do you think it is woth it? The price offer by Land rover as an option is a good deal? If I don't take it now and I want install a similar system later how much it will cost me (in land rover it will cost around 650 euros TTC)
Do you have information and advice about this topic?

THIRD

Accessories: what do you think about the following list?

I want to eventually add the following:

Padel -for steering wheel aluminum finish

-Kit Pedals stainless steel sport type

- Sport type footrest

- Front door chrome illuninated or basic (without light)?

I think I have mentioned everything!
Thank you in advance for your feedback, tips, pictures etc.

:)

Hi, Just got my 2016 Disco Sport a month ago. SE package in Firenze Red with Black Pack. Originally wanted a White with lack Pack but could not find one how I wanted it. This is not my first LR, I've had a Discovery and an LR3 which was my favorite. I got the Disco Sport from a dealer in Texas and I would not recommend them to anyone because they will ruin you vehicle. I returned to the dealership last week to get the license plates, and they put the front one 4 1/2" off center to the right. It looks so stupid. Now they want to re-spray the front fender and fill in the holes, currently have a complaint pending with Land Rover North America against the dealership.

Oh and I also have a rattle coming from the left door/B pillar as I have read some other owners have been dealing with the same issue.

Picked up my '17 Disco Sport in Scotia Grey 9/16. Black package HSE with protection package, upgraded stereo and climate package. I am still "new to the brand" since I traded in my recently purchased Evoque (which I had only owned for about 2 months prior). Loved the Evoque, but it was a bit too small with a pre-schooler in the house. Small rear rattle for which it will go in soon. Driver side B-pillar tick for a couple weeks, but now gone (for the most part). So far loving it, though build quality is somewhat suboptimal.

Hi AlohaLR,

You ride is on fleek (as the millennials would say). Looking at your post makes me little homesick. Went to undergrad at HPU.

I guess I won't ask how the weather is...LOL! Congrats on your new purchase.

I'm in UK. Got my Disco Sport back in December. It's an HSE auto in Corris grey with tan leather upholstery. Engine is Jag's Ingenium 2ltr diesel. Diesel is only option on this model here at the moment but I prefer diesels anyway and this one feels very refined. So far car is great although mpg is below expectations. I'm getting about 40mpg (that's UK gals) whereas my last car a BMW 320d Xdrive managed 55-60mpg on a decent trip. Only other problem I have is finding top-up oil to meet JLR spec. Even my JLR dealer uses an oil for servicing that doesn't quite meet the spec.

Plum1 - I wouldn't worry to much about the pano roof. After all, it is just one piece of glass (no opening mechanisms. etc.), so I would think they would be able to replace that with a good seal with no issues...;)
