Hey all,

A while back the USB disappeared as a selectable Input. I has been living with this for over 2 months. Made an apt to have the car serviced for this and the myriad of other issues with the Nav system. No city/town names, locking up, SD card read errors, spotty Bluetooth connectivity, etc. They ended up (supposedly) replacing the whole head unit as the service advisor said they could not apply any updates to the unit. When I initially reported the issue with the USB the service advisor said cr*p about not using the USB for music. Either iPod or memory stick. I seem to remember reading something about this somewhere, maybe the manual? Whatever the case, these are my questions:

Has anyone experienced loss of the USB input as source?
Has it been fixed? What fixed it?

Thanks!

I use a USB 2.0 thumb drive for streaming .mp3 audio which works perfectly (and never lost it as a USB input source when I switch between FM/AM/etc...). However, I haven't used it to connect to my phone yet. The USB drive pretty much holds all the music I need for now.

I hope you have been able to resolve this and the Nav Sys is working properly.
