Land Rover said it received 3,400 orders in the UK for its new Discovery Sport ahead of its start of sales at the end of January although there is a feeling among some industry insiders that many potential customers will wait for new engines due to be launched later this year.

LR keeps changing the UK configurator.

Recently, the dealer fit options/accessories were removed from the configurator.

Also, the dedicated accessories section of LR's website still has the wrong part number combinations for roof rails.

That's why sometimes I rather way to see what they finally decide on, no more wasting time and a better look at what you'll get overall.

So if analysts are thinking people are waiting for more engine options that will come out later, does that mean that the initial order numbers were lower than expected?
