Out of curiosity... is there an easy way to disable the daytime running lights on the DS? Was thinking about going to a drive-in movie theater and I want to make sure they don't accidentally come on during the movie.

Weird question I know...

Are you going to leave the engine on? If so, they might come on in certain situations. If not, I don't think they will come on. See this link to the manual: Land Rover Owner Information.

I was going to leave the engine on... The place broadcasts the audio through an AM/FM station... And I'd rather not fnish the movie and realize I've got a dead battery. In the long run I'll probably get a small radio, but this is more last minute...

LOL The gentle purring of a running engine for 3 hours or more will probably cause other patrons to love you! The car will not drain the battery by playing the radio for a short time.
