I will be waiting for the new gasoline Ingeniums, early buyers will be finding themselves with a Ford Ecoboost under the hood. Not that the 2.0 Ecoboost is a bad engine, its already proliferated through the JLR stable... I just want these supposed technological marvels called Ingenium...

Under the hood sits the familiar, Ford-developed, 2.0-liter turbocharged I-4. You know this engine from the Evoque and various Jaguar sedans (as well as some Fords). Power is adequate — 240 horsepower and 251 lb-ft of torque — on paper

I won't mind the ford engine at all. not sure in how many other vehicles it's being used in but because of what it is i'm sure it's use is spread out well enough, so factoring in that at least we have something that should for the most part be tried and true

Its not an issue at all, you'll find it as the base engine in XE, XF and Evoque...
