You aren't a fan of the panoramic glass roof? I like how it lets a lot more natural light into the vehicle. I found this video online that shows the panoramic sunroof. I'm not sure if there will be a traditional one though.

Panoramic Roof > Sunroof.

Back when I was a smoker it was great to have a sunroof for venting out the smoke without blowing ashes everywhere but now I have no real need for it, plus the natural lighting you get is a big plus for me, something I value.

Even when i smoked, I would never do it in the car because it makes everything smell so bad and ash gets all over the place.

I wish they could make a panoramic roof that also opened up kinda like sunroof. Best of both worlds, right?

horrible habit
I would never smoke in a car

used to detail cars for a couple years and noticed how messy it makes your windows which is most noticeable when you actually clean you windows
I bet it also affects resale value. Even if you don't do any damage to the car, I think that that smell is almost impossible to get rid of.

You don't think it is obvious? I'm sure it depends on the details, but in some cars I think you wouldn't be able to get rid of the smoke smell.
Is the range of possibilities here not obvious to you?
What previous knowledge/experience do you come from makes you think you wouldn't be able to get rid of the smoke smell?

I mean I've been around cigarettes, and have been to people's homes where they smoke inside. It is very difficult to get rid of the smell. Like I said, not in every case, but in some it is very tough to get rid of that smoke smell.

well that's a house, not nearly as easy to get rid of that smell their
in vehicles there's less for smells like that to latch onto and easier for air fresheners to do their job in such a confined space.

I never open up the pano roof on my BMW - it's too messy (stuff falls into the car) and noisy when driving.
Also, the mechanical linkages do break over time and it is very expensive - my first BMW X5 roof cassette replacement costed $1200!
Such a waste IMO.

I love my DS pano roof - brings in natural light and that's all I need.
