What Car has a group test up featuring the Disco Sport, problem is it also features the Sorento, Santa Fe and X Trail...

Now, did anyone cross shop ANY of those before buying a disco...

Fair point, in the UK they are priced much similar. In the US you know this never flies, there is next to no cross shop going on there AFAIK...

No, personally, I would never consider the other brands. Id buy a larger domestic before any of those would darken my garage doorstep.

But they do fit in the same class so.....

Cross shopping

I did cross shop them all. I went to an auto mall that had them as well as the new Honda Pilot. I was waivering between the Pilot and the Hyundai... That is until I found the Disco. I also drove and compared the Audi (both models), Toyota, Acura, and Pathfinder.

I am not saying price was no object, but price aside, I personally loved the Disco over them all for my needs. I even liked the Disco over the LR4 and was moving from a Jeep Wrangler unlimited.

I surf, drive on the beach, and have 1 child, 1 wife, and 1 dog.
