Satellite radio issues (intermittent)

Having an issue with my infotainment center and wondering if anyone else is. It only affects the satellite radio portion. It loses its brain quite a bit. Sometimes it only plays one channel and won't let me switch or it doesn't play any. The preset station display sometimes and disappear other times. Signal refreshes from the provider don't work. Once, it last for three days and only way to resolve was to disconnect battery cable and reseat (Sirius support team recommended). Then I was back in business for a while. I have a video of the issue where I can't change channels but can't post.

Yup, known issue.
See your dealer for re-progamming or entire head unit replacement.

I am waiting to get back to the dealer on this issue plus many more including the not so empty gas tank gauge....
Thank you! Seems like I already have a few items for a service appointment then.
Our 2016 HSE model has been back to dealer twice for this very problem, supposedly upgraded software, and it still happens intermittently, not as often as it did, but completely unpredictable as to when it will happen. Will ask for it to be addressed next time I plan to get the car to the dealer, maybe ask that they replace the head unit, but if they can't get this right could lead to me heading down the lemon law return process as this drives my wife (its her car) NUTS.

I also asked then to address the gas gauge issue, and they say there is no issue - ARGH!
SRDS Channel Freeze/Lock-out

@BooneGlasscoat - was this problem ever resolved? If so, what was the solution, and how long did it take to repair? I have a 2017 Disco Sport with the same problem, and it has now been in the shop longer than I have owned it. About to cite our State's Lemon law!

@crsAZ, did you get yours resolved? I've only had my 2017 Evoque for 3 weeks and it's doing the same thing.
We had the trial of sat radio and other than taking 3 hours of playing phone tag to get it running never had problems with it starting or displaying stations.

Cancelled the service a month before it ended the free trial. Poor stereo compared to local stations ( and way more announcements) , and to many drop outs when driving. Trees, overpasses, hills, buildings etc all caused clicking or complete silence, not good when living in a heavily treed area surrounded by mountains. Same problem neighbours have with different vehicles. Never mind that I never found a station that played what I liked.

Last offer from them was for $5 a month for a year.
I am having the exact same issue with my infotainment center. However, a new more concerning issue has started happening. As I am driving the whole infotainment center reboots for no reason at all. I brought it in to the dealer and he said the issue with intermittent connection to Sirius is known and they are working on a software update to fix it but it is not available yet (so I guess I just have to live with it until then). The rebooting issue is not known and they said they never heard of that happening and everything checks out fine. Obviously, something is wrong because it has happened 2 more times within one week. Has anyone had their system reboot like this?

You may want to check the nav sd card. I have heard of loose cards or even faulty sd cards making systems reboot.

Maybe as easy as popping it out and putting it back in.
