Secondly if anyone has removed do you need an impact removal tool?

Torx bit is size 50
I used Mintex pads and Mintex rotors, plus new brake sensor, cleaning everything off and replacing took half a day. Note 7mm and 5mm Allen key required, see EPB brake video on You Tube to disarm the electronic parking brake everything else is quite simple. Sensor a bit awkward to replace but got there in the end

Think they are 50. They should not be very tight unless rusted so you shouldn’t need an impact just use a good quality 3/8”drive or 1/2” drive bit. I very rarely use 1/2” drive tools unless working on larger nuts /bolts. The torque setting is usually around 30 or 35Nm. They don’t need to be very tight.
