Welcome to the forum!
Here are my answers:
1. Gesture tailgate was an option that came with the LUX version (HSE - Luxury) - you should get a Monroney (window sticker) from the selling dealer or a VIN check online website that can tell you what the car came with.
2. The auto start stop can be annoying but it is meant to save you fuel. As for the idle, mine is very stable and not loud - sometimes with the radio on, I don't hear it stop and then restart. Maybe you need to make sure you are running on 91+ octane premium fuel. Run some BG41K thru the gas tank to remove any water that may have infiltrated the fuel system.
3. You can leave the car running and then leave with the car - I do that a lot when I forget stuff from the house. But I don't think you can lock it - you don't need to- the car won't go anywhere without the key in the cabin.
4. No records means nothing. The owner could have taken the car into an independent mechanic to do the oil change. That's what I did at 10K miles when the LR phone app told me of the upcoming service. Paid $110 and saved about $300 from a dealer doing the same work from my independent to change the oil, check fluids, and reset the oil change service indicator.
