Question on 2016 DS HSE Lux options

Hi all! I'm looking to get a 2016 DS HSE Lux and have a question about the options. The brochure has the surround camera system as part of the Vision Assist package (pg 46). However, when I build out the car on the LR site, it doesn't have this option and can't find info about it anywhere on their site. Does anyone know if this option is available for the 2016 DS HSE Lux?

Thanks!

Btw, this is for the US model.

Thanks!
Vision Assist package is not available for 2015 nor 2016. So far only a handful early 2015 productions have this option. Most people think LR found some issues so they halted the option in the middle of it. The internal memo says the earliest possible offering time would be the end of 2016.

I don't think it was called Vision Assist originally, at least not on my 2015 HSE Lux, but I have everything that's called for the in Vision Assist package offered for a Range Rover Sport (BSM, Surround Camera, RTD, etc.). I wonder what's supposed to be wrong with it? It all seems to work OK for me (although the touch screen when a camera view is displayed is not very responsive).

In my 2015 brochure, it's called the Driver Assist Package.
Your dealer should have already received this information back in April. The memo is called "2016 MY DISCOVERY SPORT PRODUCT INFORMATION".

"...Vision Assist Package remain restricted from ordering.
Blind Spot Monitoring w/ Closing Vehicle Sensing & Reverse Traffic Detection and the
Surround Camera System will be unavailable... We expect these features to be available later in the model year..."

One thing I learned from DS purchasing experience -
1. Don't trust the brochure - they advertised many things that may not be available.
2. Don't believe what the manual says - LR tries to create a universal version of the manual/handbook (which is good in certain senses), so they list many things that may not be available in certain markets (or all the markets) and it makes owners think those features are in their cars.
The Vision Assist Plus option package is only unavailable in the US if you select the 3rd row seats.

Without the seat option it is fully available. Only the side camera option is unavailable in the case you select the seats. They have unbundled all the other features of the package so you can add them individually if you select the 3rd row seat option (minus the side cameras).
My early 15 model Lux has it.

Seems like I read somewhere that the 16 is getting some new tech packages.

Yes, dealer told us that's for early 2015 models (LR cancelled the option for the rest of MY15 even if you already placed and order). Right now for 2016 models, if you go online to configure the DS, there is no such option anymore.

That's nice, DiscoDisco, you DS is fully loaded!

Right, you can't get the blind spot or the surround camera on a 2016 right now (hasn't been around since this summer when I ordered mine). You can get the headlight options though (adaptive etc). Supply issues or something like that.

And is does appear the online tool is current for the 2016 pricing and features. However, the tool wouldn't let me add a black pack and keep the car loire blue...hmm weird since that's how I ordered mine.
I confirm for the canadian market; I ordered mine in early september and the Driver Technology Package, which includes the following:

Autonomous Emergency Braking
Lane Departure Warning
Traffic Sign Recognition
Blind Spot Monitoring with Closing Vehicle Sensing and Reverse Traffic Detection

Is not avalaible. Seller told me that LR was still looking for a reliable supplier (?) for this option...

That's too bad! We got a 2016 MY HSE Lux and I almost ditched the back 2 seats in order to get the Blind Spot monitoring and side cameras. Sounds like I wouldn't have been able to. The spec sheet i have for MY 2016 seems to confirm this: quote

"As in 15MY, some features within the Vision Assist Package remain restricted from ordering. Blind Spot Monitoring w/ Closing Vehicle Sensing & Reverse Traffic Detection and the Surround Camera System will be unavailable on both 5 seat vehicles as well as those with the 3rd Row Pack.
We recognize this situation is difficult for retailers and customers alike. We expect these features to be available later in the model year. Availability will be subject of a future announcement."

Yes, this is the same paragraph I quoted in my previous post (post #6 in page 1 of this thread).

Yes sir! She's fully loaded. We love all the features. I think the only other thing I'd really like to have ie the HUD display.
