Hi guys,

I am just curious about how many USB ports are installed in US version of MY2016?

For MY2015, with 5+2 3rd row seat option, the DS has a total of 5 USB ports:
1 in center console, next to cup holders.
1 inside the 1st row armrest, mainly for InControl Apps.
2 for 2nd row, behind the 1st row armrest.
1 for 3rd row, if 5+2 seat is equipped.

In MY2016 brochure, it says "The cabin is integrated with up to four 12V power points and six USB charging sockets.

So where is the 6th USB port located?

p.s. I know some non-US markets have an extra USB port located in the storage space above the glove box, and some has another extra USB port in 3rd row seat, and I am positive these two extra ones do NOT exist for US version.

Yup, confirmed my 2016 with 5+2 seat option = 5 USB ports total.

I think the brochure is misleading - it might be a Canadian or European version ?

I remember when I walked into the dealership after viewing a Youtube video on the Discovery sport showing it has magnetic damping shocks (Dynamic) and side mirror wade sensors - the sales advisor says not in the USA.....

And just like the mysterious missing Autonomous Emergency Braking and Forward Alert features that I can't tell if it exists on this US spec car....

Thanks for confirming it!

This also confirms LR has issues with brochure's accuracy, just the same as its owner's manual/handbook.

BTW, the MY2016 brochure was downloaded from landroverusa.com. For my own amusement, I am going to try to grab a physical copy from the dealer when I pick up my DS next week (sigh, endless service appointments).
