just curious:
When there is a patch or a new version of the software, are we notified in some way?
Right now, it seems like we are left to discover the issues, then proactively search if there are solutions via this forum. It's most certainly not like say an iPhone, where you get a message that a new update is available.
I'm a bit confused to the protocol. I figure if there have been known issues with the fuel gauge, for example, that the dealer would reach out and say that I should come in to get an update.
Also, are there periodic updates in the future based on enhancement requests? for example, there has been some talk in this forum to add:
1) compass
2) trip timer
3) Auto Stop/Start default to OFF on engine startup
thoughts?
