Almost pulled the trigger on a Range Rover Evoque about a year ago. Just not enough cargo space. Hoping new Discovery Sport will provide Land Rover style with a bit more space. Heard about the model from a friend of mine, who knows way too much about cars. Surprised to see a forum up.


The current Land Rover models are too old. Looking forward to a new vehicle. New full-size Range Rover is out of my budget.

Glad to have you here. Sounds like the Discovery Sport could be just the thing for you. Have you thought about any brands outside of Jaguar/Land Rover?

Perhaps a Porsche Macan or Audi Q5. We'll see.

Yea, its becoming a pretty competitive segment. Plenty of options, but I am not as big a fan of the Macan as some others seem to be. The Q5 is definitely worth considering though.

Yeah it sure is awesome to see it all happening in the way it is right now, Land Rover is finally putting out bits of solid information on it and doing it at a good rate.

It showed up at the Paris Motor Show so things are moving along nicely. Any word on release date yet?
