Land Rover Discovery Sport Gets New HSE Dynamic Lux For Frankfurt

You're looking at the latest addition to the new Land Rover Discovery Sport's range ahead of its world premiere at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. It's called the HSE Dynamic Lux and it enhances the SUV's exterior and interior styling, as well as its tech list.

The exterior of the Discovery Sports is pepped up with Narvik Black details, body-colored moldings and door claddings, plus 20-inch gloss black alloy wheels. Inside, the HSE Lux receives fresh colors and different trims.

The real big news, however, is the introduction of a new Intelligent Dynamics Pack that combines Land Rover's latest All Terrain Progress Control (ATPC), which enables drivers to set and maintain a steady speed in off-road conditions, with the Active Driveline system that can switch between two- and four-wheel drive as conditions dictate, and an Adaptive Dynamics system with MagneRide dampers. This package is expected to be offered on the rest of the range as well.

In the UK, the new Discovery Sport HSE Dynamic Lux is available to order now with the firm's TD4 180PS diesel engine paired to an automatic transmission priced from £46,000. Availability and pricing in other markets will be released later on.

Looks good. But surprisingly the wheel arches are not body colored. I do like the gloss black on the rear bumper now
im not able to see the door claddings from the photos. can someone help point them out for me?
I like the front and side skirts. The rear doesn't work for me. Reminds me of front of a Jeep now backwards on the DS.

Conventional doors with black leather. No red lines

The back looks strange to me too. The black cut out at the rear bumper just doesn't tie in the way I'd like it to. The front end looks great though. This is a good start as far as possible modifications and improvements.

yes, and also the squared exhaust tips do not work well either. I'd prefer round to match the round in the tail lights.
Aesthetics aside, I would like to try the All Terrain Progress Control (ATPC) on a variety of surfaces. It's like cruise control for off road drives and it's supposed to easily pull away from low-friction surfaces.

Smart move for them to include that as this will be a new vehicle for a lot of people and a lot of them not knowing how to do much of this off-road stuff and not understanding the dynamics of a lot of it. Maybe one day we'll have a fully driverless offroad LR :D
DAMNIT!!

If the Disco Sport Dynamic was available when I bought my Disco HSE Lux and if the pricing and equipment were even close.....I would have chosen the Dynamic on looks alone. Well done!
