My navigation system works great so far as a whole- but the card is in the console between front seats and it doesn't have a cover, it's exposed and easily touched. (a design flaw according to dealer) That being said, I haven't put anything in the space or even opened the console because I didn't want anything to touch the card. Still a few times a week the system says the "card is unreadable" and do I want to "retry" which resets the whole system.

sending it in for repair next week for that and the "rattling"

wondering if anyone else is having probe with this?

Haven't heard of anyone having this problem yet, have you tried contacting the dealer to see what they have to say about what can be done.

This has been a problem for me since I received the vehicle a month ago. In fact, I got an unreadable card message once while driving. This is a major flaw, especially if you don't know were you are. I have to take it in to see what they can do.

I just had my car in to the dealer. They could not fix it right away after a few days of tests. They said the need to replace the "audio module interface" and it will take a few weeks to get the piece in. At least they fixed the squeaking in the back.

This has happened to me once in my 15. Im in a 16 service loaner right now. Had it for a week and its done that 3-4 times. There is a SDD update available. Im not sure if it fixes that but I did ask my dealer to do it.

Let us know if the module replacement fixed it.

I was told they are creating a cover for that card as it is a design flaw it sits exposed.

As for updates I was sent away being told there weren't any for the vehicle so who knows what is really going on other than many owners are experiencing issues out there.

Nothing is ever perfect but pretending like these things are not happening just turns a simple situation into an unfortunate and a bad one.

I had the SD card read error for the last few months. I am supposed to get my car back tomorrow with it repaired. They replaced the SD card reader and say it is working fine now. I also have a fuel reading error. I cannot put more than 14 gallons in the tank at empty. Supposedly this new reader has fixed it, however, I am doubtful. I have had my DS HSE Lux for 5 months and it has spent over 30 days in the shop working on these issues.

Are you folks still experiencing the SD card error? I had mine fixed at the dealer last week, now it's returned, but only on engine startup. This is incredibly frustrating. I'm curious about how people's experiences are unfolding so far.

My GPS was not able to find Baltimore, MD and had it marked as a dead zone with 0 as the longitude and latitude.

My dealer had my Disco for 2 days and said it is now resolved after multiple updates. They said they had to call LandRover.

I have the same issue and dealer took three times to resolve the issue. Finally they provided me a different card with out full maps.

Yes, this is a bad place to place the Navigation Card. Found a cover on Ebay that act as a storage tray... $15.99
