The Nav system map is set as a default at 500 Ft. (US). (Per the dealer, you can't change the default setting)

I know I can manually change it to zoom in or out. However, when I zoom out to say 1000 or 2000 feet, it will stay there for about 20-30 seconds and then revert back to 500 feet. This is rather annoying.

Is there a way to get it to stay zoomed to something other than 500 ft.? I know I can't change the default setting, but can I at least set it every time I get in the car. 500 ft. is just zoomed in t far for long trips.

I believe there's an auto zoom setting that you can turn off. Dig around the Nav settings. You should find it.

petcha's right- there's an "auto zoom" in the settings. It was driving me crazy
