So just got a new 2016 LR Disco and called few different dealership service departments for maintenance questions. And every single one of them gave me different answer. Some said every 15k or 12k or 10k. and the price is from $550 to $300. Anyone has better answer than these dealership service reps?
Is there maintenance pre-paid package?
thank you,

The dealer did not offer me any pre-paid maintenance package. They was trying to sell me a 2 years extended warranty for $3,400. The car at the time have a 5 years 100K warranty, but if I upgrade to 7 years, it still 100K warranty. So I didn't want to drop $3,400 for it.

The service booklet that came with my DS has service intervals of 10k miles. The RR Sport, I believe, uses 16k miles. I had my first service at 10k miles.

My dealer and the service manual say 10k.
^^ Yes this ^^

Most dealers offer the first service free - check with your selling dealer....:)

I take mine to an independent because not only use real LR parts, but they are much less pricey on the labor side.;)

Oil change, filter, and cabin filter (pollen filter) for $150 - about half of the stealer.>:D

Should be 10k interval. Your remote incontrol app will alert you with an icon when you sign in. It did for mine. My first service cost about 400. I paid 100 out of my pocket because LR sent me 300 in voucher for my US launch edition.

4sallyplay, where do you take yours? I know you're in so cal.

I take all my vehicles to:
Silver Star Motors - Walnut, CA

They are wonderful - never pushy, never oversell, never try to scare you to pay for stuff you don't need.

They specialize in European cars but work on all cars.

We take our Honda, BMW and now the Land Rover.

Ask me about pre purchase inspection experience - saved me thousands on a prior Land Rover!
