Has anyone had the LR brand equipment installed? If so, do your cross bars install and remove without issue?

We have LR brand rack installed by the dealer - they are a real pain to remove and reinstall - I had a mechanic at the dealer show me have to remove them, and even he had to take some time and force it a bit. Basically you need to loosen both the torx bolt on the side (under the key cover) but ALSO the ones on top at each corner, under the black rubber trim on the top rail.

I have those and am about to move them from my Evoque to my new Discovery.

I originally put those on and it wasn't difficult
Huh. This is upsetting that you would need to also remove the torqe screws by the rubber tread. Seems like it defeats the purpose of even needing a lock. What if I want to take them off to go through a car wash. That would be insane.

I was hoping the silver lever would assist in spreading the crossbar clamp. I am also hoping mine was installed backwards and this is why the lever did not work.

The fittiment instructions hidden online are the only docs I could find on them and they are very unclear.
Just installed some Rhino Rack cross bars. Very strong bars. I ordered the bars in silver but received the black by mistake. Decided the black look good so decided to keep them.
