My wife and I picked up our new Discovery Sport HSE Luxury last week and are loving it other than the really hard seat cushions that are part of the climate package.

Too bad to hear about the seat cushions. Does it make it uncomfortable to drive long distances?

Surprisingly firm and uncomfortable. I'll be surprised if we're the only ones that find this to be the case. Anyway, there's always a work around and all-in-all it's a great truck. I'll post some pictures of our last off road adventures in a minute.

Welcome! Hard cushions you say. 2 options that I know off. 1) Patience, they will soften up over time from use/structure fatigue. 2) Cushion cover or something similar, an extra bit of padding may be all that is required...

Softening up over time is probably all that can be hoped for but who knows how long that's going to take, could be a while before there's any real difference.

Being an new vehicle, I know I would. Rather be safe than sorry, repair bills can add up quickly.

Hi, I'm in the same dilemma. Dealer quoted me $2600 on extended warranty for up to 6 yrs (or 100K miles). Does it sound reasonable? Sorry for the rookie questions as this is my very first LR vehicle. :laugh:
