Several people have commented on how easily the plastic scratches on the interior of the DS, especially the interior of the doors. Well, a valet scratched mine badly last night. I didn't notice it until earlier today. I have quite a few scratches on the bottom of the door from general use, but this one is right in the middle of the door and quite noticeable since it stands out in white contract from the black plastic. Anybody find a way yet to help hide these scratches? It really should not be this easy to make a scratch this noticeable. Thanks.

Yeah, kids (and adult friends too) tend to kick the bottom of the door to open it, so that's not unusual. One of my DS' doors already has a visible line at the bottom black plastic part.

Checked out this link. It looks like a lot of work, but the result from the pictures does not look too bad:

Yes, my stepkids kick the bottom panels. Thanks for the links! I didn't even think to try a search on Google first. These are helpful.

For the dirt/scuff, Mr. Clean Magic Eraser with light soap does the job pretty well. Make sure you don't rub the plastic too hard.
I'll have to try that. Sounds like a good idea. I have a scuff on the top part of the door that looks like someone spilled milk on it, but I'm pretty sure it's just a "smudge" in the plastic. Sigh...
