Came across an odd looking Disco while browsing LR of Seattle website. As I clicked on it for a closer look, I realized it had 265/60-R18 Goodyear Wranglers on it. I've never seen a new (24 miles on the odo) car being sold with non-oem tires. As an SE model, the car doesn't have many options, although it does have roof rails, rubber floor mats, and "exterior protection pack". It is also optioned with the black design pack and blind spot monitoring but still has halogen headlights. Could it be a more hardcore soft-roader? I'm seriously baffled by the options list. Here's a link to the website- http://www.landroverseattle.com/inventory/2018-land-rover-discovery-sport-se-4wd-sport-utility-salcp2rx6jh760613

Nice looking DS and quite unique looking compared to the stock SE cars...

Based on the options and pricing, it seems that the dealer did some customization trying to make it one of a kind.

The roof rails, mats and tires were added on by the dealer.

If you look at the actual window sticker it probably has a "dealer added options" list next to it.

I wonder how noisy those tires are on the highway.

I like the look of this one....
Nice seeing you on this forum Mamil;). Looks like that Disco has the same 17” LR rims as yours but painted black; the only thing that slightly bothers me is that the gray panel at the bottom of the a-pillar wasn’t painted black (Don’t know why the LR designers did it but they probably have their reasons). It is a great looking truck.

Yeah, been lurking for a year or so but finally registered so I could post.

That customised DS I posted the photo of was done by a dealer in Germany called Matzker who specialise in modifications to Land Rovers and even make their own parts. Yes the wheels are the same as mine and are standard LR Style 105 17". There's a better choice of AT tyres in 17" and gives a larger sidewall height which is good for off-road. The black body panels are just vinyl wrapped so you can add as much black as you want, as they did with the Discovery 5 they also customised...
