Did you get the Incontrol Apps package with the car? It's separate from Incontrol Remote. It was another $400 feature. I have the apps but not remote. If you do have the apps, you have to select them on the car's touchscreen. There is an option to have them come up by default as soon as you plug in the phone. I haven't used them much but once JustDrive comes out on Android I probably will use them more often. Anyway, once you plug in the phone, I think if you press the right arrow on the main touch screen there is a icon from Incontrol Apps (at least that's my recollection away from the car).I purchased DS HSE a,month ago . I'm enjoying remote control via iPhone. After I set up incontrol apps my iPhone, I tried to connect USB port and phone but nothing came out on screen. What I missed any one help me?
It wasn't included in earlier versions of the DS. It's now included standard, but mine was built in March or April 2015 and only came with InControl Apps, not Remote (and I'm not sure it's standard in the US like it is in the UK, but maybe it is). I wish I had Remote, but I've heard it's a factory option and can't be retrofitted.You should have Remote, at least in US. It's included on all models of the DS.
