Hello all,

Two weeks ago we got our DS (Kaikuora Stone) and loving it so far. We drove into the Cascade mountains the first chance we got, and the DS handled it like a champ. The interior is superb, I love how well balanced the ride is, and am getting used to the turbocharger. Manual shifting works really well.

We are back to the land rover brand after a 10 year hiatus. Used to own a 2003 Land Rover Discovery. Glad we're back.

Drive on.

DS HSE, Stone with Almond interior, 3rd row seating, climate comfort plus package, driver assist plus package, protection package, Incontrol Wifi and Incontrol Apps. The 3rd row seating was very useful (despite most reviews to the contrary) for the one long trip we've taken - my 11 year old took over the rear seats and built his private nook back there. Incontrol wifi seems less useful. The one thing I wish I had was the black wheels (hmm.... wonder if I can get them aftermarket...)

Overall, really enjoying the car. I think LR has a winner here.

If you're patient I'm sure some stock black wheels will start showing up soon on eBay, etc as the aftermarket catches up. Just not sure there's much out there right now. We have the 20" black wheels and they do look great.

The one thing I regret about our DS is that we got the 5 seater and not the 7 seater. Not a huge deal but it would be nice to have it and not need it rather than need it and not have it...lol.
