We picked up our HSE Lux right at a month ago. Just found this forum tonight
I'm glad to see one up and running!

Ours was the third sold out of our dealership in the first week of getting their first shipments. Ours was the first one sold in town, the other two were out of town purchases.

I've been a long time LR admirer. We almost bought a LR3 in 2006 but chickened out literally at the signing table. Lol! Glad to finally own one now.

Been great so far. Get tons of looks and compliments.

Nope it did not and I think thats BS. Im in the process of raisong a stink about it.

Just curious how much did they charge you approximately to have front windows tinted as I want to have them tinted as well.

It was included at no charge.

Oh boy, this interior is just awesome. I highly recommend it. Oddly, For some reason it NEVER shows its real color in photos. Seeing it in person in its actual color makes it the best part of the car. Needless to say we love it.

I agree.

It's close enough to the Evoque, and the big RR, which is what I liked a lot about the Disco since at first I was worried it was going to be some watered down product.

I see plenty of Land Rovers but I don't think I have seen any Disco Sports yet. I always have my eyes open for them though.

Now that weve had this thing for awhile, Im still very happy with it overall. There is LOTS to love. The one thing that has lost its luster is the infotainment system. Not nearly as good as first thought. InControl apps for music is a bust and I dont see any usefullness out of the other available apps. For music I just stream bluetooth or rn through the wire I dont even bother with the music portion of InControl apps.
The overall system is very slick looking but, after being used to UConnect functionality, its still behind. Not being able to do the simple task of scrolling through presets with the steering controls is ridiculous.

It is in no way a deal breaker, because we didnt buy it for awesome infotainment and it still does the basic functions that we need to play music media of different formats, talk on the phone and navigate when needed.... but with infotainment systems being such a huge part of todays vehicle ownership experience its just not right that a premium brand like LR cant get with the times. Every time I go back and forth from the Disco to my RAM truck, the differences show.

The overall sound from the system has been great and the incontrol remote and protect is also still pretty cool.
