Hi Friends,

My first post in this forum, and I start with a concern. I have a recently bought a Discovery Sport (MY20).
To my notice, every time I park the car after using it for a while, I hear dripping noise from somewhere beneath the vehicle. It sounds as if there is water dripping on some metal plate. It can't be heard from inside the cabin, but only from outside. Happens almost everytime, even after a short run.

This is new for me, and I have no idea what the sound is about, whether it is something quite common, or shall I be concerned about it.
I seriously hope it has some simple explanation, just keeping my fingers crossed while looking out for any advice in this regard.

Pretty common with all modern cars that the AC drips water after a run.
Just check under the car and make sure it's not oil or coolant. Soak some up with a paper towel to check for colour

Can't see anything on the floor. Whatever drips remains inside the chasis of the car. Hence I was concerned.

From my experience the AC condensate dripping is silent. There is often a crackling sound of exhaust system cooling down.

Hi. Did this issue get resolved? Bought a 69 reg LR Disco Sport yesterday and we’re experiencing the same thing. The only content I found on Google was this thread! Thanks in advance
