i have a black pack on the sports. are the grilles, black always plastic. we recently had the grill replaced as the paint was peeling off, and I thought the grill was aluminium?

Mine is a 2015 with black pack. I assume you’re talking about the front grill where the LR badge is. Grill is plastic.

No worries. I’d be more concerned with the paint peeling off though. I could be wrong but I didn’t think the grille was painted. What colour is it underneath where the paint was peeling off? Perhaps the previous owner painted the grille?
