Too bad that russian review is not in english, still good to get a look at what they're getting, but i can't tell if there are any differences from what their getting vs my market.
I would expect that there are some differences because I (and this is just a guess) think that Russian regulations are probably quite a bit different from Western countries. The differences could be stuff that really isn't that significant though.

But again all this is just my guess.

Good point.
One thing I can say for sure is that some safety equipment might be different, seems more possible than things JLR would have to decided on only internally without conforming to some regulation.

Hmm, interesting. it will be cool to compare eventually. maybe if people post up their builds then we can compare and see what is different, if anything.

Hi, everybody.
Excuse for my English.

In Russia there will be no Discovery Sport with a mechanical transmission. And only with the full drive.
Also cars won't be equipped with a safety cushion of the pedestrian (which in a cowl)
Your english is good :)

Thanks for giving us that information, it helps to know what people in other markets are getting and how their vehicles are configured.

I hear that mainstream brands are pulling out of Russia because of the economy and sanctions. Luxury brands are sticking around though. As long as the rich continue to have options for vehicles, everything will be A-OK.

Has our Russian friend put in an order yet? Sales have started, right?

Great walk around video and general tour, that will come in handy when it comes to pointing out differences from that Discovery to how Discovery's are configured elsewhere in the world.

Good morning.
I'm from Russia.
I am waiting for the car in late May-early June.
The car is assembled on May 6.
Discovery Sport HSE Luxury SI4, Scotia Grey.

From Russia officially went only Opel, Chevrolet, Seat.

But auto sales in 2015 declined sharply due to the increase in prices caused by the appreciation of the euro and the dollar.
Land Rover sales were down 50%
Waiting for the DS is about 3 months
