Hello the Group!
I've been reading the posts and suggestions on the forums and have to thank you all for the good information found on here. Hubby and I are seriously considering a Disco Sport for our next vehicle and I'm curious about the longevity of them. What's the highest mileage that y'all have seen on one, considering that the DS has only been around since 2014/2015.
We tend to keep vehicles until they die of advanced age/miles, so I'm curious what the general experience is?
Thanks, in advance!

I haven't heard of many issues with the petrol versions and they should last a long time with regular oil changes. Water pumps can go, but they are fairly easy to change. The Ingenium 2.0l diesel engines are a bit suspect and need regular maintenance, don't wait for the service light to appear!
Luckily I purchased a low mileage 2017 diesel model which has covered about 23,500 miles and I intend keeping it if I can keep rust at bay, but they don't seem too bad for rust.
MPG isn't as good as I would like, it's slightly better than my Range Rover Sport which I had previously, especially around town, but not much better on a run, which is disappointing, but tax and insurance is a lot lower in the UK.
