Hello Everyone,

I used to own a Discovery II a few years back and got rid of it due to the high cost of replacing parts on them, didn't feel like dumping money into a vehicle that old. Got rid of it for a Lexus LX (aka Toyota Land Cruiser), but since hearing about the new Discovery i'm highly considering getting back into a Land Rover. Hopefully as more information comes out on it I can make a final decision on whether I really want this or not.

Welcome to the forums! New Discovery Sport should be significantly smaller than your Lexus LX, though. Do you need all of that space?

Any other brands that you are considering? There are far more SUVs from brands other than JLR and Lexus. Have you considered any of the German brands?

Welcome to the show! Perhaps tha man is also anticipating the larger Disco before a decision is made...

Junior, I'm sorry but you just cannot compare the experience and capability of a disco to a Teutonic piece of trash!

I don't actually need all the space that a Lexus LX and the like has, but not everyone buys them because they actually need all of that space. Always liked the LX, just had to have one. Now it's time to downsize a bit and possibly go the LR route.
