I bought my DS certified pre-owned, so had no choice but to take the base 10 speaker audio system option.

I am starting to think it's a bit underwhelming sound-wise, and may wish to upgrade . . . dealer tells me there are no factory options . . . anybody know of or thinking about upgrading? If so please share!

Ask your local stereo shop if they can add onto the existing sound system with an additional amp and speakers ?

If we keep our DS off lease, an audio upgrade is essential. Like 4sallypay says, a good local shop can totally upgrade you. They'll take the speaker feed from the DS, run it through a signal processor, new amp, and new speakers. You can get a system that sounds better than the Meridian if you want to spend the $$
