Does anyone know where the oil control valve (solenoid) is located on the 2016 discover sport? Getting a P0011 code and want to check it.

Also how do you get those out?

I believe the engine in the 2016's is a Ford EcoBoost 2.0 so if you Google "Ford EcoBoost 2.0 VVT solenoid" I think you'll find a few YouTube videos and other stuff that might help.

I knew that but there is no video of the exact motor that the Solenoids sit. It looks like the solenoids sit on top but I can’t figure out how to get them out. Bolt is not exposed.
