. Yes!!!! I am loving my Disco 17 just got in Aug, but cannot stand the dropped calls and inability to listen to Bluetooth speaker music. Cannot find other posts from people who have had success fixing this. Happens with all phones I have tried, not just Droids.
I've had the same problem with my 2016 Disco Sport for 2+ years, with 2 different phones (Nexus 5X and Pixel 2). It seems to work with my work issued Samsung Galaxy S9. If anybody has a solution, please let me know!
This was happening to us as well. A software update to the Nav resolves the issue.
Thanks UltraStyle

So, you just request the dealer to upgrade the Nav software? What is the price to upgrade?
Covered under warranty during an oil change. Not sure otherwise.
Cool.

I had the same problem with my Huawei p10+ , it did all the time a connect / disconnect, so i wasn't able to use it properly.

Got my software updates last week and since then everything is working fine. But it took more than a day to download all the software packages.

I have now the new design with three tiles, one for navi, one for media and one for telephone.
Our updates were also time consuming, taking almost the whole day or a multi day visit. Also, ours got reset with a dead battery and we had to have it done a second time.
I’ve had the update on my 2017 Discovery Sport and at times it will not connect to my phone automatically. It will connect to my daughter’s phone while we are both in the vehicle and not mine. I don’t want to take it back because they will tell me “we don’t get a code”. What happened to good ole mechanics who can figure this out and not have to be told what to do??

i have disco 2017 and having problem in bluetooth its dropping too many time and reconnect again. I am so tired of this any solution friend.
Try installing Bluetooth Phonebook from the App Store. It fixed the constant disconnects I had with my Pixel2, Pie 9 and Discovery Sport.
Yep I'm having this issue too, very annoying. Will try and get updates from the dealer.

This worked perfectly, thank you!! (S9 plus Disco sport 2015 se)
I also installed Bluetooth Phonebook on Android from the Amazon App Store (that way it displays the call log).

No cut-outs so far with 19-HSE Bluetooth and a Samsung 10E.

Thanks for the pointers!
I installed Bluetooth Phonebook and it fixed the Bluetooth instability problems between my 2019 Discovery Sport and my Motorola G7 Power. An excellent APK but a shame Land Rover has this problem in the first place.
I have had this problem with my Samsung S8 and disco sport. Its been in 3 times now and still not resolved. They downloaded an update to the infotainment system last week and it was OK for a day but back to dropping the day after. My wifes Huawei connects without problem and maintains calls and Bluetooth audio. Any suggestions??
did the Bluetooth Phonebook app not help? or did you not try it?
Mine worked fine for a while after the update. Now I cannot hear with the volume turned up all the way using Bluetooth.
I do not understand why, but when I installed the Bluetooth Phonebook app, the connection issue was solved like magic. Thank you all!
