hello,

I Accidentally hit the paddle shifter while making a turn today and noticed that i now have the following lights are yellow and the car is basically stuck in 2nd gear.
-ABS
-Traction Control
-Brake
-Check Engine

It is also telling me that the HDC has a system fault as well as AEB is not available/forward alert is not available/HDC is not available. Has this been seen by anyone else? Any fixes? Seems like the gear is now stuck in second gear since i hit the shifter but really dont want to take it apart if i dont need to.

Where you in Sport or Drive mode when you downshifted?

As in how confident am I or am I will to disassemble the entire steering assembly to get down to it? Confidence is an 8/10 doing a bunch of electronics may get a bit hairy.

Why do you think you have to disassemble the steering column?

Nothing leads me to believe that just giving you a temperament for where i am at. Have you seen this issue before?

I use my paddle shifters almost everyday ( mainly engine braking on hills) with no problem.

I would check for codes , clear them or disconnect the battery for 30 minutes to reset everything.

I wouldn't be worried that you hurt anything by hitting the paddle. The computer won't let you do anything with the paddles that would damage the engine or gearbox. I agree, check it for codes, see what they are and go from there.
