Hmmm, it would seem that the New Member Introductions forum doesn't like it when I bump my old original thread. In any event I posted my 35k mile update there for anyone interested: http://www.discoverysport.net/forum/46961-post21.html

Short version: I still have the SD Card Read Error and Engine Check Light gremlins and decided to replace all four tires, two down to 4/32 tread (mine were Perelli, replaced with same).

Wow, the car drives so much better with the new tires - this is how I remember those first few weeks with the car after delivery.

Definitely always a good feeling to be rolling on new rubbers !

Thankfully the engine light isn't affecting your performance and drive-ability, but definitely would be a pain the rear to keep seeing that on and off.

Overall, what are your impressions of it ??

Great car but more than a little eccentric. It will most likely have problems, new model, British made, increasing complexity but I have truly enjoyed this car and am getting my $'s worth out of it.

Wow, that's a lot of miles - being the first to get that many miles - glad to hear you are keeping the "eccentric" DS....

I stopped complaining of mine with a similar complaint - started using my phone for reliable Navigation instead of the crappy option I should have never purchased....

The drive is what keeps my smiling - the DS is such a fun car, nimble, and very satisfying to the driver enthusiast...
