SUMMARY:
Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 Land Rover Discovery Sport vehicles manufactured September 17, 2014, to March 5, 2016. In the affected vehicles, the license plate illumination lamp may fall out. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

CONSEQUENCE:
Without license plate illumination, the vehicle may be difficult to identify at night.

REMEDY:
Land Rover will notify owners, and dealers will replace both rear license plate lamp housings, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin June 27, 2016. Owners may contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-637-6837. Land Rover's number for this recall is P077.

I saw this the other day when I looked at my VIN in TOPIx. I thought it was more of a "needs to be done sometime" rather than a true recall. I'm not in the mood to take it back to the dealer anytime soon, so I'll probably wait on this one. :)

Mine was in for the continued B pilar ticking and an audio rattling in my front passenger door.

They also addressed the recall with the license plate lights.

They tried something new for the B pilar (apparently Jags have had a similar issue in the past).

My speaker was replaced, but the rattle is still there when any bass is played.

Go back to dealership again tomorrow.
