Okay I mentioned this in my introduction post but the problem is now recurring with some frequency; however, it is still intermittent. Whenever you turn off the ignition the system resets and the problem disappears for an indeterminate period - sometimes it is recurring within a mile or two other times not for several days and many miles. Snapped a recent photo of the error message which I will post here "2 Wheel Drive Only - Traction Reduced". It first occurred at around 16k miles.
There is not consistent trigger, sometimes it is low speed climbing an overpass, others are turning a corner and yet others are simply straight line driving. About the only consistent element seems to be some degree of acceleration but there is not any one rate of acceleration that triggers the error message.
I have my 20,000 mile service scheduled in next month and I think I can wait until then unless the problem becomes permanent. I would appreciate any insight anyone else has to this problem.
