Since this latest update - at least for Android devices - the response time for remote functions and connectivity has been MUCH better. I haven't updated my wife's iPhone.

I just got my Disco sport and installed the Android App. It is pretty responsive considering it is going out to the Internet and contacting the car via cellular. I am pleased with it. Once in a while the app states updated over 1hr ago. I wish there was a way to force it to update. I can't seem to figure out what causes it to update and sometimes it just does it and other times, I am closing the app and re-opening it.

Does anyone know if the app will notify you if the alarm is triggered? I know I can go test it myself, but I don't want to bother my neighbors by having my alarm sounding for a while.

Are you referring to InControl Protect?
It should notify you if the alarm is set off.

Agree that a force refresh button would be nice. Sometimes I just have to close the app and restart, but works well most of the time
