I had this at first. Developed after a month or so. My installer rectified by essentially backing off and retorquing the bolts or something. He said the first time he installed he did up the bolts with the spring compressor in place. It seems that the bolts need to be re-adjusted after releasing the pressure on the springs. Which makes sense to me.

Anyway, its been 30,000KM or so now, and all good. No noises, squeaks or rattles.

Eibach pro linft Kit

hello, I've also added the Eibach higher laying.
But after a short time there were already noises from the powertrain.
The wear and tear could be seen and heard.
Don't you have any problems with it?

Nigmar28,

Did you have to replace your struts? I was consulting with a Euro car shop here in the USA and they said the ride would be a lot stiffer and the travel would be messed up if I didn't get new struts. What is your, or others' experiences with this? Thank you!

Thanks for that input. I figured as much. However, this is food for thought: I asked Eibach this question directly along with some instructions and received this answer from John on their sales team:

“To my knowledge the original struts / shocks are retained.

Installation instructions are referred back to the OE workshop repair manual.”

Can you all share your experience compared with rhis statement? Ty!!!!

Im going to tackle the Innaminka, Strezlecki and Birdsville track in one trip. What would your recommended tyre be? Any thoughts on tyre pressures for the dirt tracks?

I installed Pirelli Scorpion ATR 255/60R18 tires before I got the lift and they fit just fine, no rubbing. The Eibach lift has made the ride a little more 'sporty', but have sure increased my clearance and reduced sagging when full of cargo. I've gotten use to it and think that's a winning combination for this car.
