Would depend on your driving habits and location you live. What problem do you have?? Rear brakes are a problem in some areas around 30,000

Garage
My Discovery Sport has logged 35,000 miles with no brake service, to date. All city driving in a northern climate, parked in a heated garage.

I wonder if your calipers were sticking?

Hi. I can’t believe rake pads on 18k mileage disco should be so pitted. It only does long journeys with little brake use. All my other makes of cars have lasted between 35k and 60 k before replacement. Are jlr brake pads fit for purpose
